About
More about me
Small groups of people make really big things happen - that’s a truth I’m in love with, a reality I’m obsessed with witnessing. But “how?” That’s the question that sits at the center of my (rather varied) career. In the last 20 years:
- 01I architected and led the People & Recruiting functions at startups growing from ~10 to 1,000 employees, including Plaid, Cruise and Meter, and consulted for companies like World and Render.
- 02I worked in operations at Coatue, one of the most successful tech-focused hedge funds, as it grew from managing 500M AUM to 9B.
- 03I started and ran two Private Foundations that gave out over $10m in growth capital to education and poverty-fighting nonprofits in their first two years.
- 04I led hiring for Mayor Lurie’s Transition, one of the most significant shifts in leadership, organizational structure, and culture in recent San Francisco history.
- 05I started a program that recruits principled and capable people to run for local office.
I’ve worked in different sectors to assemble winning teams, build strong and authentic cultures, and create the infrastructure needed to go from idea to institution.
I spend my free time working on personal creative projects, championing the Arts as a Commissioner on the San Francisco Arts Commission, lending a helping hand to the team at 48 Hills (an amazing Film education program led by Joe Talbot), and enjoying every precious minute I get on this earth with my husband, my two daughters, and our pup.
